Experiment 1b

last update: 11 Feb 2022

This webpage presents a slight format variation from Experiment 1 by having expanded views appear just to the right of a full-case image, with the top of each expanded view lined up with top of the corresponding item in the full-case image – I do not think there are setting values which allow the positioning of an expanded view higher than the corresponding item in the full-case image. Also, this webpage shows full-case images without any large vertical blank spaces between them. I think I have gone as far as I can with this style of webpage.

Assayed at the Mint

200 years ago in a building not far, far away …

This three-case exhibit was entered in Class 18, Local Interest, at the 2018 ANA convention in Philadelphia. It is offered here as a demonstration of the effort to bring a multi-case exhibit to a webpage, showing the visual limitations. We are not seeking comments on this exhibit itself, but comments on the page’s format, operation, and usefulness are appreciated.

Move the cursor over the case until a popup image appears – when you first stop moving the cursor over a popup, a small title box appears for that popup. The top-left corner of a popup is just to the right of the case image, located at the same height as the top of the corresponding item in the case image. For best results, enlarge your browser window to the full screen, and scroll down until a full-case image is at the top of the browser window.
